On Wednesday I was suppose to go visit teaching...we were running late to take Kirt to school which is always a good sign. As I was going outside to get the car warmed up, the car wouldn't start... I guess when Kirt got home late last night his foot got stuck on the trunk handle on the side of the car and it was left open all night so the car was dead. We had to find a neighbor to jump us and then as we were leaving we noticed our tires were flat. So, I dropped Kirt off at school, found a gas station and fixed the flat tires. Then I ran straight over to one of the sister's house I visit and found out she had to go into work unexpectedly. Lincoln was also sick so I had to take him to the doctor's office. It was one of those days...On Thursday, it was just sad... I went to Walmart and I put Landon into the cart next to the car... I turned my back to get Lincoln from the car and I heard a shaking sound in the distance. Well, all of a sudden a car started honking at me and I thought, "Oh how rude", then I look around and notice Landon is half way down the Walmart parking lot. Yes, the shaking sound I heard was him rolling away...he was just kicking his legs and singing while the carts rolling... I can't tell you how I felt...all I could do was laugh. I think this was for sanity sake. Friday...I thought o.k. I need a break, I'll take the kids to story time so...I packed them up. The only story time they had that day was the infant story time... It's suppose to be 0-12 months, I thought well I have one of those. As I sat down, there was a lady next to me who looked 12, she was wearing a black skirt with red leggings and suspenders to hold up the black skirt. She had a 7 month old in her lap...all of the sudden the rudest thing came out of my mouth... I didn't mean to say what I was thinking at the time, I looked at her and said "How old are you?" she then looked at me and said..."I don't know, how old are you, and you have three kids?" I think my mouth was visibly open. I couldn't believe I did that. The words "touche" did enter my mind after she said that though. The lady next to me was listening to our conversation and she started cough laughing, I then looked back at the poor woman I insulted and said, "I'm sorry, what I meant to say was how old is your daughter?" I thought I could save it, but I couldn't...I looked at Landon who was highly confused and disturbed by the singing and dancing in the library and said, "o.k. kids it's time to go!" so we went and got a bunch of books and two movies and went home! I just kept thinking to myself, "this was quite a week!" Later that day I found out that our roof is leaking and we will have to replace some of our roof and fix our window which is leaking water from the sides of it and probably our drywall. Sometimes...You just have to laugh!
